The literature reports that Patchouli has a distinctive aroma and many people find the smell unpleasant unless it is well diluted. It has valuable uses in skin care and when combined with certain oils, it has been known to be beneficial in the treatment of acne, cracked skin, certain types of eczema, fungal infections, such as athlete’s foot, some skin allergies and dandruff.
